Return & Damages

At ROCKETCARS S.A.R.L ("we," "our," "us"), we strive to provide our customers with a seamless and satisfactory car rental experience. This Damage and Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the return of rental vehicles and the handling of any damage that may occur during the rental period. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Vehicle Return

1.1 Return Location: The rental vehicle must be returned to the location specified in your rental agreement or as directed by our staff.

1.2 Return Time: The vehicle must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time as stated in your rental agreement. Late returns may incur additional charges.

1.3 Fuel Policy: Our standard fuel policy is “full-to-full.” This means you will receive the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, and you are required to return it with a full tank. Additional charges may apply if the tank is not full upon return.

1.4 Vehicle Condition: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when you received it, excluding normal wear and tear. All personal items should be removed from the vehicle upon return. We are not responsible for any lost or forgotten items.

2. Damage Assessment

2.1 Initial Inspection: A thorough inspection of the vehicle will be conducted before you take possession of it. Any existing damage will be documented, and you will be provided with a copy of the inspection report.

2.2 Final Inspection: Upon return of the vehicle, our staff will conduct a final inspection to assess its condition. You are encouraged to be present during this inspection.

2.3 Damage Reporting: Any damage discovered during the final inspection that was not documented in the initial inspection report will be your responsibility. You will be notified of any such damage and the associated repair costs.

3. Damage Charges

3.1 Repair Costs: If the vehicle sustains damage during the rental period, you will be responsible for the cost of repairs. The amount will be determined based on an estimate from an authorized repair facility.

3.2 Administrative Fees: In addition to repair costs, an administrative fee may be charged to cover the processing of damage claims.

3.3 Loss of Use: If the vehicle is rendered unusable due to damage, you may be charged for the loss of rental income during the repair period.

4. Insurance and Liability

4.1 Insurance Coverage: Basic insurance coverage is included with your rental. Additional insurance options are available for purchase to further protect against potential damage costs.

4.2 Liability: You are liable for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period, up to the full value of the vehicle, unless additional insurance coverage has been purchased.

5. Dispute Resolution

5.1 Dispute Process: If you disagree with the damage assessment or charges, you may submit a written dispute to contact@rocketcars.us within 7 days of receiving the damage report. We will review your dispute and respond within 14 days.

5.2 Final Decision: Our decision regarding damage assessment and charges will be final. If necessary, the dispute may be escalated to our insurance provider for further review.
